When you place a show prospect with a new show home you cross your fingers and hope all work out for the best. Well, it couldn't have gone better with Rodger and Strauss! The two were an instant team and with Rodger's eagerness to learn all about showing, Strauss was a showing machine. It was so much fun to watch these two in the ring. All of Strauss's attention was always on Rodger and he was happy to do whatever Rodger asked of him.
Strauss finished his championship with Rodger handling for every point. He earned a Sweepstakes and a Best Of Winners Specialty major with Rodger on the lead. Rodger and Strauss are now on their way to earning their Grand Championship. They have achieved their lure coursing title and Best Owner Handler at the 2017 ABC National.
